the dandelions turn from yellow to white
we sit and watch
light breezes
lift seeds from globes
and take them into the air
likewise
the coltsfoot turn
amber petals
to
silken filaments
as some fade
seeds dispersed
others appear
ancient species
rear up
Horsetail/Marestail - Equisetum arvense
the garden’s changing
we
being flora centric
decide it’s time for a blooming species list
mosses and grasses excluded – for now
